Functionality |
Transport Type will default to UI 'User Interface' which will display batch jobs submitting via the online 'exchange data' link within IRIS. To view data exchange results for real-time jobs submitted via Web Services, select Web Services from the drop down list. NOTE: Organizations that submit via web service should limit the date range to a day or even hour range with a day to improve response time.
Select Date Range will default to display jobs submitted Today. If Today is selected, then an Hour Range can be entered. You can select a different value to see jobs submitted for a longer time period or use the Date Range field to narrow your search.
Date Range allows you to filter the jobs displayed to a specific data and time period. This is especially useful when finding jobs submitted prior to the last week. The date range entered is limited to 30 days maximum in order to minimize the impact on response time.
Hour Range can be used if the Select Date Range is Today. This feature is especially useful for those providers that submit real time messages via web services where thousands of messages may be submitted in a day.
JOB ID can be used to filter the results further if the job id is known. This field can do a wildcard search and requires at least three characters to do a search. This is not a required field and can be used in combination with other search fields.
Message Control ID can be used to filter the results further if the message control id is known. This field can do a wildcard search and requires at least three characters to do a search. This is not a required field and can be used in combination with other search fields.
The results are grouped 50 records per page and the Next>> and <<Previous links allow users to navigate the result pages.
When the processor starts to process a job, a Process Start Date will appear and PROCESSING will be displayed in the Status column.
Once the processor finishes processing, a job Status will be displayed. The finished job will have one of the following Status:
Complete: All the data was processed.
Error: An error occurred while processing due to the data file format.
Exception: An internal error occurred while processing the data.
Click on the Refresh button to get the latest processing Status. As soon as the processor finishes processing a job a blue link, Job Name, will be created.
Clicking on the Job Name will display the Exchange Data Details screen for the selected job.
