Data Quality Summary Report

 Purpose

Data can be entered into the Idaho Immunization Reminder Information system (IRIS) directly through the IRIS user interface or via data exchange with a user’s internal billing or data system.  Data quality is important for accuracy of patient identification and deduplication, reminder mailings, vaccine usage and other reporting.   IRIS does some validation of data upon entry for required fields or valid values.  However, some fields are optional or allow a default value to be assigned. This report will monitor the overall quality and volume of data completeness.

The Data Quality Summary report includes a high level summary of missing information or defaulted values on designated.   The report is organized specifically to allow for report to be run for an organization to monitor data quality.  This report will be focused on summary counts of incomplete or defaulted fields for the organization’s active patients.   The report will include a summary count of immunizations for the active patients that were entered by the organization.
